Facts in brief: The US dollar and Euro can be bought or exchanged in to the tenge in all authorized banks or organizations in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Import/Export: Currencies are imported or exported by residents and non-residents to/from the Republic of Kazakhstan without any limitation in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Amounts of USD10,000 or more must have official documents to attest of their origin and must be presented to customs.
